We've been through this before. Btw I have the same issue as you. I do poorly in whiplash (small range)... lol
Luckily we had some big range days... helped me boost account.
Numbers work... Magic lies in the numbers
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I am looking to trade reversals so in a ranging market the chance of getting a strong solid reversal signal is small, if i get an entry at the bottom or the top of the range it will be with a small target only so it limits my profit potentials.
Just 1 trade today and going to call it a day, i have missed a few other trades today but it really doesn't matter anymore since i am well beyond my target already and as i have mentioned earlier, i wanne spend some quality time with my son since he has no school this week, it would be stupid to waste that time looking at my charts all day while there is no real reason to do so.
Only 2 trades and going to quit for today. I will probably take the day off tomorrow as well so this will most likely be the end result of my Gauntlet.
Total profit for today $362,24.
Total profit for the Gauntlet $7008,24, which is equal to 28,03% return and if my calculations are correct my draw down should be below 5%.
Looking forward to receiving my offer somewhere next week and start trading the funded account, i will keep updating here or maybe i will start a new thread for the funded account since the Gauntlet and the funded account are 2 different things and also provided by 2 different company's.
Thanks everyone for your support and interest in my journal!
Just wanted to say congratulations. Job well done, and consistent work... especially with overcoming your mistakes.
Looking forward to reading about your next stage!
