Hi Jeff,
Are you still trading CL with the setup you most recently described? That is the 30R chart using break out of the swing hi and lo.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?

Hi Steve,
At the end of January I had been trading CL exclusively for nearly 3 months and had broken even. So.......since this was clearly not sustainable I decided to go back to trading YM and make some money ! LOL
I still like the potential that I see in CL but for now I'm giving it a rest. Last week I started simming CL again with good results so I may give it another shot if the simming continues to go well.
As far as the 30 range bar for CL.....that was more of an anchor......I've found that the 20 range bar is better for trading. Also......I've been focusing on "early entry" rather than wait for the break outs ala Joe Ross.
Good Trading, Jeff

I'm seeing a lot of very complicated approaches on the forum lately.......makes me want to keep it simple.

I'm inspired to consider this attached 5Minute 6E AYN setup on SierraChart . I'll use Volume Breakdown and 8EMA for signal entries.

It is a SierraChart study (or indicator) which is based on BidVolume, AskVolume and a Triangular MA. It is very much the same as the stuff here .

Hey Jeff,... Very good to see you back... You would happen to have a template with the green/red dots that show up on the 8ema? Thanks
