Still no trades this week except what I closed from the prior. I'm instructing this week and next. I have not even made time to look at charts at night. Hope y'all were able to catch a few trades in today.
Ain't it the truth. Here's my misery The short swing attempt ended in a fiery crash; I was going to keep an eye on it but ended up hanging out and having a few drinks with the missus so... yeah, that went by the wayside. That run up later on was impressive...
No trades for me the next few days, out in the shop and gearing up for Amy and Triston's birthdays (the 11th and 10th, respectively... yeah she had him the day before her birthday LOL.)
I took a couple of tiny scalps. Tried to chase that big bar up but didn't hold on. Then took a scalp off monthly vwap bounce, before I had to go to bed.

Monster move in EUR overnight. It's interesting how yesterday's big bar retraced completely, then recurred. This might the beginning of a huge uptrend. I got duped at the last second by a big downbar before the move started. Jumped in the middle and got a chunk. Finally got something!
I'm noticing significant improvements over last month after getting rid of the 5minute chart. Good luck everybody.

Nice trading @jackbravo ! Glad to see at least one of us hopped on board. I was tempted to jump in on the little pullback at 1.2055, didn't pull the trigger as it wasn't in line with the plan / rules I am working off of right now.
No trades for me today. I'm finding I have a lot of different "ideas" running through my head and that is usually a bad sign. It means I am not confident or focused enough in the current approach. Might need a few days at the drawing board to shore things up. My swing account is still long from 1997 so not all gloom.
@JMP3 the reigning champion I was re-reading my post from yesterday and wanted to clarify, I don't rank you with the rest of us amateurs. You've got your name inscribed on the champs cup after all. Looking forward to your return to likely trouncing all of us, and schooling us in the process.
After that strong trend yesterday, the expectation was for a 2nd leg, so that's what I traded. Got a chunk of the 2nd leg, but man...looks like pittance when looking at the chart. Third leg might be starting.
First positive week.

If everybody who traded this week posts their totals, I'll update the summary.

Essentially break even. I'm SIM for now, and probably will be until next month, so just submitting for a good thrashing
I will say that I was trying to be dead serious while trading SIM, except for the big loser I had for my last trade.. if I would have been trading live, I would have monitored it closely and shut it down at the first sign of trouble. Instead I got distracted by woman and booze and kinda forgot about it LOL. So there is something to be said about having skin in the game.
