After further analysis, I closed my exploratory short at breakeven (good thing eh?) I think this bull action still has some legs, but also currently believe we're going to see lower prices in the future.
Still looking to get into a trade that I can hold longer a'la @Silver Dragon, so for the time being I'm sitting on my hands... and looking for clues. I need to stick to my schedule this week because of obligations around here, so no Euro session trading, but I will be glad to wake up tomorrow and see what they figured out in the meantime
I actually enjoy scalping around when I have time, but the appeal of HTF (for me) is undeniable... charts are so clean, so much noise eliminated, don't have to babysit the trade all day long..
I'm long one lot for grins, entry not great but riding the wave and has moved in my favor, initial target 1.17000 but we'll see what happens if/when it gets close.
Edit: Moved through the level without a lot of difficulty so letting it run... stop moved to initial target. How far will she go today?
Edit: I almost killed the trade at the very top, but stuck to my guns and let it ride. Stop hit, +24 on one contract so I'm not bitching.
I started trading few lots of euro futures. This is one of the cleanest charts I have seen in terms of trading with volume spikes, volume exhaustion levels and intensity of trades. Levels marked are plotted by various studies. I just follow volume, price and intensity.
PS : Cleanest compared to my other charts for ES, CL and JY .
Trading: 6C (Low Margin,) 6E, CL, GC, ES and Maybe DX for smaller tick value

what is the level at which you decide to enter a trade based on volume spikes? And does the current price level compared to S/R levels get taken into account?
Seems trying to eyeball volume spikes is difficult. Do U use an auto trader?
on a sidenote....would you guys know if this also is a Oneline statement from the broker at the end of the year?. No need to compute various buy/sell statements....correct?. How does the points go in this?
