Horst is a student of Henry Roche (by the way this has all been said before, but you didn't read the previous thread) and he was working as a student teacher (not really though) for Henry. Mainly he has been doing videos (his own as well as packing up other students to put up online).
It was called Masters Palace. Then Third Realm (hence not a good name), then New Futures. It is not proprietary at all and I don't know why he says that. I think guidelines are really what they are selling but like someone else pointed out if you are an experienced trader then you need not apply unless you feel you need this method to be profitable etc.. (There is more to what they teach than just click here, click there. A lot about the emotional game etc..)
Horst feels immense loyalty to Henry as Henry kept him on the road less traveled forcefully until Horst made his breakthrough almost 2 years ago. Before that he wasn't profitable (all this is from our skype conversations).
Horst feels passionate about helping Henry build his student base and believes in this system. Henry is a pretty good trader and a profitable one in my opinion. What Henry's true passion is though is something of wanting to be an ICON which is more about worship than trading in my opinion. If you could trade and take out 3K to 10K per day out of the market consistently, then would you have the same reference about money scarcity etc..
We figured he would get a lot of 'flak' but you can't prove that he is 'cheating' etc.. Until you can, you can only surmise...
I love this forum, it is full of good guys and hopefully great traders some day, but if you notice one thing is that it lacks consistently profitable traders. The reason in my opinion, because if you can pull that much money out of the market day in day out, then why would you spend your time on a forum? You wouldn't. I do agree though that his results are amazing.
I agree, that is a great idea! I think people get a bit over-excited about the $ value because the people on the forum think that is a lot of money. Heck, I do these days!
If you take a poll, you will find most people who are posting on this forum have never made 80K per month over and over again. A few have, but VERY few, so most people's outlook on this $ amount is significant.
82 points is not a big deal and he did have lots of losses in-between, but he would just stick with it and keep trading until he got his pivot and worked himself out of a hole.
I have to admit, I never really payed much attention to the videos. I was more just interested in those chart buttons.
imo 82k doesn't mean much. I would need to know how many contracts, how many trades etc. but one thing you should not forget, the markets always change, the tools always change. with other words, everyday you can learn something new. that should be enough reasons why to spend time on a forum, like this I should mention.
the other thing I don't agree is, it doesn't matter if the 82k is real or not. at least I couldn't care less. the problem is here:
Take note - even though this section of the forum is for the discussion of Vendors and Commercial Products, there is a very strict NO ADVERTISING FOR SELF PROMOTION rule.
Feel free to discuss the positive/negative benefits of a certain product or website, …
and by posting videos and writing reports on the owners webpage .... just makes me believe he's a bit more than just a student.
I am sorry you feel condescended upon. I have a feeling you are a sensitive soul and I apologize for the indifference I have bestowed upon you. Honestly, I meant no ill will towards any of you!
Yes, and google does work. Maybe investigative journalist is a natural calling for you. haha...
WE = Gil & Horst. Friends, Colleagues, Fellow Traders, Fellow Human Beings, Fellow New Futures Traders (technique) etc....
Yes, Horst started paying me 1 penny per hour to assist him w/ public relations. haha.... WE are conspiring to drain you of all your money. Did you check your brokerage account today yet??? MOOOOOHHHHHAAAAHHAAAAAHHAAAA!!!
We are out to get you. Whenever you see a dark shadow in your path, that is us.... haha....
Ok, now back to studying.... You guys are fun to play with.
Horst,
Thank you for you videos. I am grateful for your efforts and your blessings to this forum. Please continue.
To all others,
This journal is for Horst. Please let him post in peace, and let this journal go back to being a journal. If you want to do what he does, then do what he had to do to get there: he spent time understanding himself , then he spent time understanding and falling in love with the indicators and charts in front of him. That is the journey that Master Traders take. It is always about you and your experience with your indicators. When your understanding of yourself is unified with your understanding and blessings of your indicators, profits are as easy and stress-free as Horst shows us.
Or, you can continue to raise your flag and cry foul about him not sharing the details of his secret sauce (shhhh, it's between his ears). Which brings more awareness and popularity to the journal, and thus to his mentor's site (of which Others have mentioned the name more times than he has). Your actions may be bringing more traffic to the journal than the inspirational videos are by themselves. Your best defense at this point is none, which would allow this journal to continue on the merits of Horst alone.
I have always said, one looks onto others, through the prism of their own personality. What you think about others, is a pure reflection of who you are. Period.
What you focus on, you attract that in your life. Think about that.
Does it serve you to focus on dishonesty? You attract even the things that you don't like, especially if you put emotions in them.
How about focusing and believing, or better said knowing, that there are good people around us, focus on truth, peace, love, success, abundance.
Haven't you enjoyed Horst mastery? Many have, as I see over 9000 views. Have you felt the peace in his trading? Does his voice sound nervous or angry? How many times have you heard him laugh when he gets kicked out of a trade. Does he always follow his technicals, and his trading time? After one hour of watching live charts, brain loses sharpness – Period.
Have you felt the positive energy that he carries with him, you can feel it in his voice?
Have you noticed how he dances with the market, he breathes with the market as One.
He has learned how to feel the market pulse and not to step on his toes.
Yes, I believe it is possible. Have you ever meditated before opening the charts, and gave gratitude after closing them after the usual trading time.
How many times your jaw has dropped after re-watching his videos. I know mine has, but then and there I choose to admire the videos, as I know that one Can trade with such an ease. I want to trade like that, so I see myself as doing that.
Horst posts are explaining that he made breakthrough in his trading, by working on himself , his mindset, and doing months of historicals only, teaching his subconscious mind what setups are best to take. It is not about the indicators, as it has been said many times. It is about the frame of mind.
Do you see yourself, and our attitude during your trading time, in front of your charts, similar to what Horst is doing?
If your attitude is much different, than don't look for holy grail, or more indicators, or blaming the previous trading company or previous coach, or someone like Horst that is sharing his knowledge, as it helps him and you to become a better trader. Teaching others in any shape or form, is a key for longetivity in trading. It keeps you grounded and keeps you stay with your technicals. Horst invested few years of his life, and some good cash to learn the most profitable business in the world. He stuck to his indicators, and to the teaching that he found valuable and didn’t give up.
After few years of hard work, his knowledge is overflowing now, therefore he is ready to share it with others.
If you have only few butterflies under your hat, don’t lift it yet, as you will lose them.
From his posts, I have only seen positive words, and encouragement for others.
Do you really think that his success is in the indicators, or the platform he uses, or the cool buttons on the side. No, it is inside of him.
Admire the good things you see in others, that would be a great change to 90% of this board. Pointing fingers is the easiest. Next time you point a finger, do it in front of a mirror.
I see successful people as my inspiration. I want to be like them, I will be like them, I already am...
Horst wisdom can be understood only by the open minded people. Definitely not by the ones that love the words, daily average, profit loss ratio, fake, legitimate, deceive...lots of energy wasted there.
Instead invest your energy, to understand your own indicators,(the less the better), what setups work the best, which timeframes to focus on, (the less- the better). Take snapshots of historical charts, of the best entries and exits, keep replaying them over and over again...That is only 20% of the work. The rest is to learn how smile in every situation, to love, give, admire, feel gratitude at all times, find peace with yourself and let it go…
Love your post, good effort for your first one. It really did give me a good smile on a Saturday morning.
I am asking myself some very tough questions as I write this. One being, should I be more in touch with my aura. Because I must be missing something in my life, as, when watching the much referred to videos, my jaw, to date, has not yet dropped.
Furthermore I am ashamed to admit that I am not in tune with all the possitive vibes that Mr Horst is transmitting through the medium of sound. I somehow have also contrived to miss his twinkle toed dance though the charts and even failed to notice his breathing the thing in whilst simultaneously feeling it's pulse.
I have, as you suggested been looking in my many hats for butterflies but alas they seem to have flown away. Although in trurth it is a bit cold for them here.
Great to hear that Mr Horsts knowledge is now overflowing!! A lucky man indeed.
You have inspired me with your words. I am now off to sit cross legged in a remote field (alas no mountains round here) Smoke a funny fag (an English expression) and listen to Flowers in the Rain (great song) whislt watching Mr Horst dancing on my laptop.
