The wireless trade commission populates the FTC which decides on allowed wireless technology and does what the trade commission wants without concern to the known health damage and cancers. Things are about to get A LOT worse.
"You can't exercise your way out of a bad diet." You may have heard this before and I firmly believe it, especially as I get older. I written before in this thread about my diet and how I try to stay disciplined. I'm not super, super disciplined mind you. Alex Gordon, pro baseball player and outfielder for the Kansas City Royals, once stated "I haven't had a cheeseburger in five years." I remember having a cheeseburger two months ago.
You definitely see and feel the difference when you just cut out the refined sugar, high sodium foods, booze, white flour, fried, greasy stuff and pretty much anything else that's not good for you. And for me, once I started doing it and got into the habit, I didn't want to break it. And yes I will have a handful of potato chips or m&ms from time to time. But it's minimal. Most of my diet is fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, chicken and fish. Right now I am making dinner. Oven roasted vegetables and cod filet, with just some olive oil and salt sprinkled on.
Name any type of bad food and you can replace it with something healthy. Instead of chips and cookies for snack, eat nuts and fruit. Instead of ketchup, mayonnaise, dressings or sauces, use hummus or ground up avocado. Instead of coke, drink club soda with a lemon or lime.
High-sugar drinks are the most pernicious. Sodas, sports drinks and fancy coffees are just terrible for you. Cut them out altogether.
Most days all I drink are water or unsweetened almond milk. I used to have a glass of cranberry or orange juice with breakfast and thought I was being healthy, then realized how much sugar they contain. Stop drinking dairy milk and fruit juices. You're not five years old anymore.
Alcohol consumption has been reduced pretty much just to weekends, and very moderate at that. Last week I had a beer on Saturday afternoon and a cocktail that night, and that was it for the whole week. Now I actually like buying a bottle of liquor or case of beer and seeing how long I can keep it unopened. I'm kind of weird that way.
Things are different when I'm on vacation. Hard to be so disciplined. In June I'm going to Dominican Republic and damn I can already taste the Cuba libres. Going to get me some of that good Cuban rum. I was in Panama in February, buying bottles of Havana Club in the grocery store. I was like, "this is heaven."
