I had seen it. It was an awesome movie. And the 'Cruzer' (Tom Cruise) interestingly played against action hero type in the beginning. Minor spoiler: by the time he gets good, it's believable and the character/movie deserves it which is different from being a "top-gun" from the beginning. The Normandy battle scenes were breathtaking however diluted from the typical audience had already been spoiled,by transformer-bay like CGI-fests. If the movie came out say more than 15 years ago, it would have been a sci-fi classic on par with "Aliens". And "Hudson" is in too, not unintentionally.
Interestingly, thematically, the movie can relate to trading and the "impossible" "steps" to trading consistently. endless thousands of trials where one can get "killed live", plus a dose of "willpower" to get to where Cruzer finally gets to. (fighting the 'invasion' of the fast HFT-bots-'mimics' hehe)
