Same here FT - quality of members and level of seriousness is higher here than T2W or Elite Trader or Traders Laboratory.
But still, futures.io (formerly BMT) has a lot of superfluous threads (like this one). The entry to elite section could easily (and IMO should be much higher than 50bucks)...maybe like a $1000 or something.
BM could easily cover costs, maybe take percentage of it and give it to a charity of the liking of the elite members (a poll of the elites to decide which charity) or we can pay for some CMT Level I/II/III to come over from the MTA or something and give actual CMT course work sessions for traders who want to learn in a classroom session or something...just thinking out loud. This would allow for serious traders th opportunity to learn classical TA and gain skill and ability in a virtual classroom with like minded BM Elites.
The increase in cost would allow for only dead serious traders to come in, and have the choice to not only be participators in the futures.io (formerly BMT) forum but allow them to learn futher in a futures.io (formerly BMT) university.....why is this not a natural progression for the futures.io (formerly BMT) site....??Let's get serious about it, and not spend time continuing a thread like this.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Wow, sorry if this comes off the wrong way- but if you are being that anal about $50- you shouldn't be trading in the first first place. If you download just one indicator- it will you will get your money's worth several times over. The webinars, the trading rooms availabale to to elites (roger Felton, CJ booth) etc. No one is going to break down the demographics for you over $50. If you don't want to join the lifetime- join for 3 months for $25.
This is getting ridiculous....just pay the stinking 50 bucks and be done with it. Like some others have said if this amount of money is a lot to you maybe you should look for another profession. No offense intended but, that's the way it is.
Edit: sorry to be harsh in my previous remark but consider this...I have never heard anyone complain about getting ripped off here...everyone is happy
You know how many services are offered for trading/investing in the $10-$100 range?
Thousands.
Indicators:
The majority of those have been pirated according to a Google search so if I joined Elite it would be for future indicators and the people.
There are also hundreds of other forums filled with a decent number of bullshitters, gamblers, and net losers in addition to flat out scam artists. This includes some invite only forums.
I'm not asking for an exact census breakdown of membership just an eyeball which any Elite could do in 5 minutes or less.
Well even if you were to get what you want, you might still have to question if people were candid. Bottom line. There is risk in trading. If the remarks in this thread don't answer your question, then nothing will.
1) How much time have you spent making your posts in this thread ?
2) How much time reading the replies on this thread ?
3) How much time thinking about both ?
dood... you are going about this as if you were expecting a return for your money... here is the deal... there is no return for your money.. just see it as a way to basically see all content without restrain... some of that content is crap (like everywhere else) and some is worth it.. in the end... it is not a huge amount of money, but you just need to see it as an expense.. nothing more... there is no ROI other than if you actually get something out of it..
