"I am going to move my stop so Goldman cannot get it."

You can run, but you can't hide.

Where is the PG-13 version for those who are easily offended by potentially offensive language?

Yeah - but would have been funnier with out all the F***....

Then again, I'm a stiff upper lip Brit - what do I know of American humour.... I mean humor....

Mike, although a little "rough" in the language, I think that this video should drive the point home.

1) leverage is not a gift, and those who extend leverage without any reference to the underlying instrument total notional value give very little chance to traders.

2) paper trading is paper trading. New Comers expect the same results from paper trading when in fact only real trading would allow them to tweak, improve and better their methodologies. Paper trading should also be realistic, but most most it's euphoric. When a trader moves from sim to real, sometimes the psychological disappointment will land him in the same old land of hope. "i hope the price ..."

I have lost and will continue losing business because I don't extend unrealistic leverage.
Although I advocate realistic use of leverage, some traders come back with "just in case I need it".

Despite our good intentions neither me or NexusFi (formerly BMT) can change the world, because there is a paper trader "Simming" out there that says..."they don't get my method"
Matt

@DionysusToast

Oh yea , well ... I will never forgive the stiff upper lip Brits for changing India from the country that created the Kama Sutra into a bunch of Puritans... so there...

@mattz

But I need that leverage.... Goldman Sachs guns my stops when I am paper trading... and I use real paper...

Maybe...but then again, Only Borat (Sasha Baron Cohen) made it to the big screen after 20 years of "Benny Hill", "Are you being served", "Fawlty Towers". etc etc couldn't crack a smile on our faces..LOL

If you compare the phrase "Pxxx off" in London versus " Fxxx off" in NY...London wins 1:10 in terms of the # of times its being said.

But you can't understand a word the Brits are saying... so no one notices...

With 200k views on You Tube many of you may have already seen this. In fact it may have already been posted on NexusFi (formerly BMT). But it's only a minute long and still makes me laugh.
