The bulk of this drop has happened in nearly 10 seconds suggesting that the market was manipulated to take all the stops out at the lows by removing bids from the markets.
Neither big buyers, nor physical shortages or debt crisis or currency collapse potentials matter when the Control Boyz move in.

you can't use my own chart against me...
did you flip a coin (works best) or do you use charts or stats or the futures.io (formerly BMT) chatbox...or show me something.
On a bigger picture there has been supply @ 1624-29 but the demand line has been edging up since the 5/16 low. We may get a pop lower but there is now a lot of demand to work through.
Very manipulated stuff. no doubt
2/29 was 1000 pip down day. 1000 pips down would blow out all the demand we have now.
You say down... so down to where?

I'm sorry that you felt this way – That was not my intention.
Don’t get me wrong, we all know that in the market there are no certainties only possibilities.
At that time, at 9:00AM, based on the price action, the market was telling me that there is a good probability that it will go down.
how far? -- I don’t have a crystal ball, I just go with the flow. And because I believe the gold market is manipulated anything can happen to benefit the Control Boyz.
And thank you for your analysis and charts – now, that I’ve found this thread I’ll visit more often.

we both won
- it went down - then it went up - then it went down - then it went up... it did nothing today. 80 pip range. blah Doji candle on the day (if you believe in that sort of thing, depending when your day started, not valid in all trading platforms, your mileage may vary)
I am long side biased and quit looking at short side about a month ago...(a little too early eh - kids were't ready to go back to school then either) and just want to get a few feet in the door before this thing explodes to the upside.
So picking away at it lately to try and get something to stick. 2 entries today but just pulled them both @ break even. Friday 1:00 CST I am done. Once everyone gets the memo that summer is over this thing ought to start crankin'. This wasn't the day. I would like to see daily ranges in the greater than 1.5% range so 250 pips +

I agree -- I think the correction is over;
but as I’ve stated before I believe the gold market is manipulated so there is still the potential for this market to move lower. This is part of the shakeup that develops near a trend change as the market tries to shake off as many weak traders as possible.
