Hi Mike,
I have tested on two different machines, an older and a newer, with different versions of Chrome. I've compiled a spreadsheet of the results and it's probably easiest if I send this to you via email. Shoot me an email (if you have it, if not, I have sent you a PM) and I can send the spreadsheet over.
Thanks, please attach the spreadsheet in a post (xls/xlsx) or a screenshot of it.

5) Quality, does the video quality look good?
Quality is fine but this tablet has higher resolution than the videos (or at least it appears so)
Thanks, I will look at your detailed response.
Both sample videos are 1920x1080p, normally the highest resolution people use on their workstation.

And now we see why this is such a big problem, HTML5 video is hugely fragmented across devices, Flash is discontinued and not supported on newer devices but the replacement just isn't ready...
I will work on it more soon.

With Firefox 17.0.1: Both videos of both links work well.
With Chrome Version 23.0.1271.97:
The second link ("Flow") causes heavy load (Chrome nearly freezes) and finaly results in "DivX Plus Web Player has crashed."
No problems with the videos of the first link.
Big Mike
My understanding is that is a third-party add-on that is causing that problem. Run chrome in incognito mode and make sure no add-ons are enabled, and let me know. You don't need or want DivX anything here.
Mike
No problems anymore after deactivating the DivX add-on.

Everyone,
I added a third test case to this page: https://nexusfi.com/html5/index-flow.php
I also modified the second case on that page a bit.
Please revisit it and let me know if the behavior has changed.

The formatting of the test page is just enough to get the videos up. Don't focus on how it looks before you start playing the actual video, I haven't done any work there.
I'm just trying to find the magical combination of what works across majority of devices and browsers as far as video play capability.

Can you try https://nexusfi.com/html5/index-flow.php again, and look at case 2 and 3 and tell me if any difference.

I just tried that link on iPad3. Safari & iOS 5.1.1
Afraid to say none of the 3 cases work. The first two come up with 'html5:Video not found' straight away.
The third case appears to buffer then displays the same error.

I made yet again more changes to case 2 and 3. Can you refresh the page, and tell me if there is any change now.
