My emotions kick in the moment I'm in a trade.

I think it's a natural thing.

As much as possible, you have to try not to let them actually make any decisions for you.

I don't think you can 'cure' emotions as such.

One other thing - I think the role of hormones in trading is way underestimated....

Shifting your focus removes the handicap of emotion completely.
What could you be focusing on that brings an emotional response?
