Since I navigate mostly via the 'latest postings' window, 2 small improvements imho would be:
1. The date ( only the day is sufficient, like '18-04') of the posting
2. Put more history ( eg last 3 or 7 days) in this window, with perhaps the possibility to 'scroll
One of my worst enemies are my own false assumptions
The upper left corner of a post says when the post was posted--"1 hour ago" for example. However, it is not exact enough to determine when the post was made. So if I look on a thread hours later and see that someone made an insightful market post "3 hours ago," it's tough for me to see what they were seeing at that time, as the +/- may be as much as 30 minutes or so. So if I could select whether to see "3 hours ago" or whether to see "11:32:17", this would be very nice.
This is a mod to change it to relative time up until it is 2 days old, at which time the absolute time shows.
It was supposed to be that the tooltip would show the absolute time if the displayed text showed the relative time, but the developer never got it right, and I have a huge folder of about 30 vbulletin projects I paid for but never deployed due to lack of time and the constant battle of getting them right/performance/security etc.
Anyway, I'll fix it for futures.io (formerly BMT) 5.0.
