Kept searching, looks like the Silverstone SFX-L SX500-LG PSU is likely a better choice. I love Seasonic, but this build doesn't need anywhere near 750W. The Silverstone is a Sirfa OEM and they have good reviews.
The problem with this build comes down to being limited to 512GB of NVMe. Otherwise it seems like an ideal build.
I looked around my workstation drive and found that I could move 200GB off it by moving one folder, so I think I could live with the 512GB limitation and keep the usable under 80%.
Pulled the trigger on the NCASE M1. Need more time to decide the remaining parts, I want to see what the Asus Impact ITX offers towards end of this month or early October.
I'm in the same boat, trying to decide if I go with a Skylake configuration with 4 cores, or build a system with a Haswell 4 or 6 cores.
I'm looking for quiet cases, a compact mid tower would be best. These are the cases I had in my Amazon wish list when researching a couple of months ago before I went on vacation:
I haven't built a system for a while as I keep postponing. Now that Windows 10 is out, I think it's a good time to build a new system with a clean installation. Any comments, suggestions are welcome.
It will be a while. A friend is letting me import on his commercial container, which ships at end of September. Then customs, etc, it will be early November probably before I put my hands on it.
