Like all other indicators, there is nothing magic about Woodies ChopZone Indicator or Sidewinder. I actually liked his system better before these indicators came along. I wrote these same indicators in Tradestation years ago but out of respect for Woodie I will not divulge them. However I must say, for the life of me I don't know why traders get so obsessed trying to figure these indicators out. I know the formula for both and I don't trade with either one.

thanks that man from texas, i have introduced new patterns but i'm not releasing to public as i found some renaming them and selling them and some just copyright infringement from my book. for better than 10 years i made all my things free including woodie pivots which many use as well. i'm just not doing that anymore.
Wow this is an unexpected pleasure! Talk about a blast from the past ... Glad to see you posting.
I think the first time I came across Woodies CCI Club was back in the old PalTalk days. I think you did a great thing , you trained a lot of traders , like me, for free.
To this day , I still refer to certain patterns as Woodies "Insert Pattern Name here". See attached picture.
Thanks again for all your help over the years!

ThatFatManFromTexas,
Great looking cci indicator, is there anywhere that a template might be posted of the same indicator and colors. Just wondering. I use Ninja and would love to use this as a trading weapon.
I know, silly title, but then there is an element of artistry in this proposal.
I attach code that paints the background panel different colours according to different conditions.
In this instance when the whole of the bar is above/below or straddling …
I downloaded the CCI_colorcorrected for NT7 from the link you provided, but my cci doesn't look anything like yours. No "dashed" average line (I assume that's what it is) & the mid-line is white, whereas, your mid-line seems to alternate between red / green. Can you share your version of the indicator with us? Thanks.
After all, it's what you learn AFTER you know it all, that counts!
