no I am too lazy for that, all a user has to do is entering 7 if he knows there are 2 days without data thus the note is to be aware of there are Sat and Sun to consider.

thanks. please explain one more thing. the way you coded it needs to add weekends but regarding the week, does it skip non data days by adding that number to the default one

say you enter 7 to get a full week of 5 of session days from monday to friday. if wednesday for whatever reason was closed (talking about no-globex instruments), will it add past friday to make it 5 days instead of 4

if there is data for a session it counts, if not it skips. Which day back do I start the calculation? the day back a user specify of course.
