LOL! It is nuts if your a scalper. I use to trade with 2 people that made at least a grand every day. Their goal
was 3 ticks. I only pay .09 cents to Ninja but the Exchange, NFA, and routing fees is why I pay 1.89 a trade.
If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life. Allow your passion to become your purpose.
Yeah, I thought it would be less. I tried to scalp. I could end up with it saying I made 20 dollars for the day
in the micros only to get my statement the next day and be down 2 dollars as I traded way to much and
had 22 dollars going to trading fees.

According to what I see, for NT the 1.89 is the per side rate for the eminis, with a lifetime license. That's 3.78 per round turn. For leased, non-lifetime license the per-side is 2.19, RT is 4.38. So in the $4 range, a little high I think for non-lifetime but not really out of line.
The lifetime NT rate for micro eminis is .41 per side, or .82 round turn, all in. For non-lifetime, it's .51 per side, or 1.02 round turn.
These look about like what most brokers seem to have, and are reasonably compatible with scalping, although it is higher on a percentage basis than the eminis.

Edit: I think this is right. Somebody who trades with NT should check me. I'm pretty sure these are per side numbers. I don't think any broker is offering 2.00 or sub-2.00 round turn all in fees for ES.
It's hard to figure out what brokers are pitching to you sometimes.
Hey just wanted to say thanks for opening my eyes to getting out of the combine cycle. I had been resigned to just keep grinding 'till I got it right...but the more I think of it, even the 2 times I was funded 1 with TST and 1 with Oneup...they made it SO hard to stay funded. It's already hard enough to be a profitable trader. I'm going to join you on your quest to trade a Micro Acct up to $5K.
