Absolutely... you should always paper for at least a week to make sure all the kinks of the strategy are worked out and you are comfortable trading it based on the signals.

ThinkorSwim is not the platform it used to be. It stall, freezes (requiring a reboot of the program), and no longer lives up to it reputation.
