Now we will know exactly how fast this spreads, India is pretty open as far as media reach goes, so reports should be real as long as patient is at least diagnosed.
This is actually very bad news, majority of these are Italian tourists traveling to India, they have been in India for some time now, meaning spread in Italy is also not small scale. And neither will be upcoming spread in India.
Points of problems,
1. India is super crowded and super polluted, means many people with already weak immune systems and possibly damaged respiratory organs like lungs. Easy targets.
2. India doesn't have nearly as many facilities to run tests as China does, there will be delay in detection. This is in addition to already long incubation period.
3. India also doesn't have enough regulations in place to stop this from spreading. If it goes into triple digits.
All in all, expect huge rise in that number of "new" and number of deaths might also experience huge spike. I hope they do not, but as someone living on ground location, I can pretty much see the ill-prepared and seating ducks everywhere.

13:18 (US) CNBC's Javers tweets: " A big question this week has been: who is going to pay for uninsured people to get virus testing? I’ve been asking people in the Administration. The answer, for now anyway, appears to be: the states will pay." - The White House referred me to HHS, where Christy Choi of HRSA issued a statement saying: “The decision of whether or not to charge for novel coronavirus testing is a state decision. However, we do not know of any state public health labs currently charging for testing.” - Source TradeTheNews.com

Thai Doctors have a promising treatment using HIV Medications in concert with the flu vaccine...very good results even with infected older patients from China.....
from the article...
The doctors, from the Rajavithi Hospital in Bangkok, said Sunday that a drug cocktail of HIV and flu medication had worked on several patients, including a woman with severe symptoms from Wuhan, China — the epicenter of the outbreak.
"This is not the cure, but the patient's condition has vastly improved. From testing positive for 10 days under our care, after applying this combination of medicine the test result became negative within 48 hours," Rajavithi lung specialist Dr. Kriangska Atipornwanich told reporters, according to Reuters.
The successful treatment combined the HIV medications lopinavir and ritonavir with large doses of the flu drug oseltamivir.
