Denali is the direct data server to Sierra Chart - it is the only data that they fully service.
TT Fix is the connection to Trading Tech order routing. Thus you can get Denali/TT
Cost of D/TT is exactly the same as CQG on AMP. If you are on Denali you can also add Stock Data and CBOE data, these have exchange costs and you need to pay directly to your Sierra Acct.
I find Denali to be faster then CQG and TT seems to show very little latency in orders when compared to CQG and definitely more snappy when bouncing around a DOM for scalps.
Edge Clear uses Dorman Trading and Phillip Capital for Sierra Chart/TT.
1) The Denali Exchange Data Feed is managed directly through Sierra Chart. Denali is its own feed supplied by Sierra. You can subscribe to it without a brokerage account, however, without a funded brokerage account, you may be subject to professional market data fees. The Sierra Chart Order Routing Service is done through TTFix. You can use other order routing services along with Denali Exchange Data Feed if you prefer.
2) In order to run two data feeds in Sierra (CQG and TT for example), Sierra suggests running two instances of Sierra Chart. You can find the documentation for that here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/NewInstance.php. The instructions on this page are for sharing the market data and trading functionality from one instance of Sierra Chart with another instance.
Thanks!

Thanks for your post. This has been a difficult quest for me also. I started out with Ensign Windows a great technical platform that few know about. If I opened an account at Infinity Futures, the data feed to drive Ensign was free. And I used the infinity DOM to place trades, A very nice DOM. Ensign cost me $50.00 mo.
Then I decided to drop the Ensign cost and use Infinity Charts (Sierra Platform). I did like Sierra and that feed was free past 10 Round Trips Mo, also because of my Infinity Account. Sierra took some time to negotiate the techs but alot less cumbersome than Ninja.
Next Infinity decided to throw out the Sierra Package and started their own charting package which is (s--t imo.
Next I migrated my account to Ninja and it was a nightmare, I would never endorse this Platform. The free platform has limited trading tools, and one need to rent or buy the upper level package.
I would recommend the Infinity Broker account, minimums to open. This would drive either their platform (s--t) or take a look at Ensign(very user friendly) or Infinity will allow you to use the original Sierra Program but you have to specify and there will be a fee. I have had an Ensign account since 1999. Just cannot trade on the chart, have to use the DOM Lots of luck with trading, keep it simple.

Sierra is the best i've had. I've used TOS in my early days. Sierra is very powerful and you can code many different styles of setups. You can switch to whatever data feed you want. Its fast and very reliable. I pay for 6 months to get a 20% discount. Totaling with data feed and charts is under 42.00 a month. Worth the money
Your broker manages your account. Funding, withdrawal, margin, daily loss, etc.
FCM clears your trades according to your fills through the exchanges.
Order routing provider sends your orders to the exchange and manages the fills. Your broker sets up what it should allow or disallow for you, eg. markets, trade sizes, margin.
Data feed provides you with all or most of the things happening at the exchages, in the order book (ladder/DOM); and holds the historical data.
Your trading platform which is connected to everything required.
You might be confused because often you meet the broker only, and the same company provides both the data feed and the order routing (eg. CQG). And sure, some companies provide multiple services.
As you can see your platform is a crucial point as it must support many combinations or be a closed ecosystem (eg. TradeStation).
Sierra has began to consolidate its services to help you out better when problems arise.
KXRTrading123 I am interested in adding CBOE VIX and am currently using Denali data feed. Documentation that I saw said that I had to use Sierra chart realtime data feed instead of Denali. I hoppe this is wrong and I can keep Denali and add the CBOE exchange. Do you know how to do this? Thanks.
I have been using Sierra charts for quite a few years my broker is Canon trading I use the Sierra chart platform 5 The trades clear through transact futures and I haven't had any issues. I don't know if I'm missing something or what I called cannon futures told him I wanted to use Sierra charts they sent me a link and it was all set up they're the only people I talked to I don't have four or five companies to route orders and talk to this one talk to that one Denali CQG rhythmic all that I don't even know what any of that's about. All I know is when I click the buy or sell in that split second the order is bought or sold. Does it get any better than that I don't know
Bro, you're the one confused. I'm not sure if you meant to quote my post or someone else's. I assure you, I know the the roles of the broker, the fcm, the data provider & order router. But what really pisses me off is that you didn't even bother to answer my questions.
What confusion of mine are you referring to? I asked what Denali has to offer (i.e., what is the "draw" of using it). My question specifically noted that Denali is a data provider and uses TT order routing. You did not address this. As to my second question, I still do not know if Sierra allows feeding charts with one data provider while routing order through another. If you're confused about this, check out IRT which specifically allows this. There is such a thing as data providers who do not route orders.
