Agreed. I have made some of my scripts to pull data from volumetric bars. Imbalances is the easiest to make. The guys at futuresanalytica.com are snake oil salesmen. No trials. Made a mistake buying from them for sure.
The only problem is if you are running custom bar types, Volumetric Bars cannot run. I have made the request for them to also run on custom bar types. Hopefully they will implement it.
Its shady at its best, if not a pure scam. No one can replicate his live trading results, and many has tried. He is non responsive on support and deletes every negative comment on Youtube.
Do your due dilligence, its wasted money. You will probably have better results with a coin flip.
Agree with MrSharky. While the concept is interesting it’s virtually impossible to replicate any of the trades he does in his live sessions. They refuse to help with the settings and don’t even give any guidance in how to optimize them. Sure I have had some profitable days but many days you can lose every trade you execute. Thank goodness I haven’t left sim. Waste of money but a lesson learned.
which product you bought can you adjust it to daily max loss or something ?? i just seen it today and seemed interesting wondering what is your experience been like and how long did you test it
There are no max loss or profit settings built in. You engage the bot based on what you see the markets doing. The issue is that there are several settings that need to be adjusted based on market conditions which by itself is fine and makes sense because price doesn’t move the same way everyday, however, they never tell you or show what to look for in order to update the settings. It’s more of a guessing game. There are a lot of people in a channel that I am a member that are very unhappy because there is no transparency with this vendor.
The excuse he gives for not sharing his settings (and he’s quoted saying it during one of his live streams) is that if he gave his settings it would impact the markets. Pretty big ego to think that a small group of retail traders could impact the markets
He uses an overlay on his screen to hide that he is using SIM/Playback. On his youtube channel is a video with the title: "TRADE LIKE AN INSTITUTION! +$1500 in 1 Hour [Live Futures Trading Episode 2]"
He claims that it was live. But he made a mistake. On timestamp 24:49 - 24:50 (on his original video) you can clearly see the overlay on the right side of the screen where the account name would be. With this overlay it looks like he is using a real account, when in reality he is not and is hiding the SIM/Playback behind it.
UPDATE: The video has been deleted after he got exposed and he has uploaded it again, but with an edit. The part where you can see the overlay is cut out from his newer version. You can clearly see the time jump on the new video.
Before I exposed him I made a video with the proof. Since he has edited his original video, I now have published the proof video on youtube. Here is the link:
Oh, and his claims that his system is backed by peer reviewed science is a lie as well.
The paper that he uses for "proof" used a very specific strategy. You can not change a variable (as he claims he did) and still expect it to give the same results. I have doubts that he even uses any calculation of this paper at all, seems more like an attempt to appear legitimate.
And the paper is just a master student thesis. There is nothing peer reviewed about it. Selling it as such is a scam by itself.
