Mechanical strategies usually work best when you focus on a single index like NQ because the volatility is predictable. You should check if your automation is compatible with different platforms since some firms have better execution than others.

I switched my intraday setup to FXIFY a few months ago because they allow EAs and don't have those restrictive consistency rules that mess with automated logic. Just make sure your stop loss accounts for the 5 PM EST spread widening.
