Jim, thanks again for your posts and sharing... I've gone through all your posts and identified all that I can... I've posted an image of what I've determined with question marks where I don't know or am not 100% certain. When you get time, would you please confirm what I've marked up... especially where I have question marks... I'm not so concerned about settings as I can experiment with those or use my own personal favorites.
in rule#1, you say, "Price bars must be on correct side of large triggers and large trigger in our direction or weakening." by "weakening", do you mean that their slope is hinting at a turn?
OH = Half off and OSH = second half off
LG = large triggers (Linear regression avaerage and a MA of the LRMA)
the Balance point is yesterdays (high + low + close)/3
EXT is ehen the price is outside of the outer keltner bend AND at other areas such as fibs and gives a short signal.
The yellow dot hasa no significance for the MACDs.
The LRMA setings are 80 and 20
Hope this helps,
Jim
sukhsan, I looked for SSMacDBG in the NT Forum files... couldn't find it although I did find MACDBBLines posted by Gumphrie... I thought you might have customized it for yourself and renamed it, but I wanted to be sure... What settings are you using for the MACD BBs?
You wrote: "I used BB(3.5,52), Lin (89), macd BBs and my own power bars".
Are you saying on the price panel you are using BB based on 52sma with a Std Dev of 3.5? or are these KC settings... 3.5 seems odd for a BB Std Dev...
Also, what KC indicator are you using that gives a diff plot for rising vs. falling and also shades in the area in between? I'll make these changes if one isn't already available... but I'm still stumbling along with NinjaScript coding.
I used Macd BB by default 12,26,9 and simply chg its background color when it cross zero line means when yellow dot appear
I changed Keltner channel with color 's base from sma to ema and used its value 3.5 multiplier and period to 52 technically its ema 52
3rd one is linear regressiom value is 89
u can use trigger lines( Links and Downloads Manager - Indicators - [AUTOLINK]NinjaTrader[/AUTOLINK] Support Forum) as trigger
anything else let me know
sorry for the delay in updating, but have been putting in 12 hours+ improving, teaching and helping traders. We have major improvements and stay tuned as I start posting new charts and rules. My number one rule is NO BLOWN OUT ACCOUNTS. And number 2 is if your are trading LIVE and losing money then STOP TRADING LIVE.
There I just made you some money by helping you keep what you have lol
Anyway, stay tuned for some great stuff coming, just very time limited now that I am training traders from all over the world.
