No, only a tiny percentage of people view the site on their phone.
And second point, no, there is already a big banner inviting people to sign up for an account (register). But I am guessing the 4,000 guests yesterday, probably a lot of them mumbled to themselves "I already have an account". Most people are not very technical, so I'll try to think of a better way to make it simpler for them to understand they should sign in.
Sometimes session cookies expire, and you won't automatically be signed in. Another example would be if you switched browsers, installed a new OS, bought a new computer, or run third party software to "clean" your computer. These reasons and more could cause people to not be automatically logged in.
If you want to be invisible, turn on invisible mode in your control panel.
You got spammed on other sites because other sites are overwhelmed with spam bots. I've worked very hard on futures.io (formerly BMT) to ensure that does not happen. If you ever get a spam message, use the report post feature to report it.
It is necessary to be logged in because you can't receive private messages, can't reply to threads, can't show appreciation by saying Thanks to other posters, and of course if you were an Elite Member then you would need to be logged in to access the Elite Only content.
I have futures.io (formerly BMT) uploaded when I start my browser as a starter page. I am always signed in............................. automatically.................
You celebrated the milestones with giving away a few iPads and forcing your members to pay for what others create and share for free? The indicators can be downloaded only by paid members now? Some celebration I'd say... Congrats!
Today we hit 20,000 members. And these are real people We deny over 100 new registrations daily that are flagged as duplicate accounts or spam bots.
We also hit 150,000 posts a couple weeks ago.
I'm very proud of what we've accomplished (unlike some people like the post above this one). I'm proud that the site continues to honor its original goal of "pay it forward", and that we continue to reward those who are the most helpful. And I want to say thank you for helping me make all this possible!
This month we will be giving away a nice 24" Dell 1080p monitor and (9) trading books (your choice) to the Top Ten posters with the most Thanked posts this month, another way of showing our appreciation.
In November, we'll have our annual Thanksgiving Charity Drive so that we can as a group help those who are less fortunate. We'll also start the nomination process for our end of year annual "nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) Best of Trading" awards, always a fun time to decide the best of the best.
In the coming months we have many more contests to announce and many highly respected educators coming on-board -- and I am proud and excited to be able to do it. But that is for another thread...

Congratulations Big Mike....You and your moderators have done a marvelous job..as well as all those that contribute...this is by far the best trading related site in existance....Keep up the good work....
My focus is on:
1. Avoid the opening chop.
2. Honor stops
3. Ensure reward > risk on all trades
