I care, and so does anyone who cares about the state of law in this nation. We are a Republic, a nation of laws. If the law is no longer meaningful, then we might as well hang it up and have mass chaos and everyone do as they wish.
You can't pick and choose when the Constitution suits you. Liberals love the Constitution when a beret wearing whacko puts a crucifix in a jar of piss and calls it art, or an over the hill director wants to video tape a 15 year old girl naked and call it cinema, but when it comes to the second amendment, they throw the document in the trash.
The law is the law. Just because the facts don't suit your particular brand of politics, doesn't mean you simply diregard the rule of law.
As far as name calling, if it fits, then wear it. There's generally 3 brands of political stances, liberal, conservative and centrist. A blind, biased and otherwise wreckless support for Obama, tells me that you're more than likely liberal.
There's things I didn't like about Bush.
My whole point is that it goes to show you that neither side is free and clean when it comes to deception, lies and an all out lack of transparency with the American public.
For you he might be good, for me it's the worst president EVER.
Anyways, democracy in the USA is a strange thing. Votes are not calculated even. A vote in the city counts differently than a vote in the countryside. IMHO democracy is that everybody's vote has equal power, not in the USA. Obama was elected as president with LESS votes than McCain.
Whew, finally we can put this birther issue to rest or can we?
I'm glad my Kingdom is NOT of this world...
"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." --- "Therefore, I Believe it and I will see it. And every day and in every way, I am healthier, wealthier, and wiser."
Look, if it's a real birth certificate and not shopped, great, that doesn't make him a good president. He's the worst EVER. I'm willing to except that this BC is a real one.
But why did he waited so long to show it ? Why did he didn't provided one like all the president candidates did it ? If it was a scam then this is the biggest fraud in the USA history, if that was true, they better shut down the democratic party because that would kill them completely for having a non-born usa president getting elected.
No lolu, Libya, Cote D'ivor, saudi, burma and others are not claiming to be a democracy, so why do you compare the USA to them ?
Hey you got raped ? Oh no, look at that other woman she got raped like 10 times, so you should be really happy. (sounds stupid ? Well, it's the same comparison you make)
It's because one vote is more powerful than another one, it's not the number of votes what counts but it's who wins the state and the number of seats (? not sure about that?) I'm not an American, I'm euro trash :-)
Look, I think the USA should cut down on government. WE, THE PEOPLE, remember ? not WE, THE GOVERNMENT. If I would vote in the USA I would have voted for Bush. I'm not against Bush, on the contrary, I'm a supporter of Bush. I'm extremely happy with the actions he did on the international scene, we Western people should be happy that at least somebody is defending our Western values and interests.
I went to see Bush in Reno and listened to him for 2 hours. What we see in the press is just some joke making of the man, he's not stupid. If the press want, they make everybody stupid.
About my source of information, I read mostly the National Review and The Weekly standard. So, what do you think that makes me ? A redneck ? Oh yeah!!!
No, no, no ......... One vote is NOT more powerful than another. You get voted in if you have a wider coverage (i. e. more number of States won) and greater acceptability (highest number of votes won); that's it, and that's all about America method of democracy designed years ago. Hey, y'all Americans, am I right ?
My personal belief is it doesn't matter much who is elected, the same agenda seems to get pushed regardless. They are more like puppets. Everyone wants to talk Republican vs. Democrat instead of the individual and what they believe in and vote for. I am no fan of any recent president really. They all have pros/cons, unfortunately the cons far outweigh the pros in my opinion.
Americans are too busy watching American Idol and Jersey Shore to spend time getting educated on the level of corruption which is happening on a daily basis. We need more people to wake up, get involved, and eventually create a revolt / large protest against the corrupt people who are supposed to be looking out for our best interest. In my opinion, this is one of the few things which will slow down the path the US is heading down now.
Anyway, I am getting off topic, just wanted to interject the quick fact check on the vote count.
