Best advice I ever heard: "We do not get paid to trade. We get paid to wait."
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?

Although Charles had mentioned it twice before, but by missing out on the last short set up, I now will not forget the difference between the zig zag LL/HH and true LL/HH

Regarding the discussion about sitting through chop or waiting for a LL or HH I have found the following indicator that lets you set levels with audio alerts.
It is the result of the hardwork and generosity of the Great Fat Tails . You need to give the line a label such as "High of Range " and a value such as 1.4535. Label can be on left or right. Look of line is modifiable.
Using this you do not have to stare at the screen for hours while market is in a range.
If you like it please tell Fat Tails.

cst . Are they spread apart
they are very wide, I'm not sure this trade will triiger - we will have to watch the grass grow together.
This is a potential ABCD retrace on the 377, a close below 4517 will void it

you are correct Seeker that a slow moving choppy market is very boring to watch.
I feel my method however boring it may be some days or weeks - lol- it prevents or at least minimizes trading during during the
chop periods which in turn hopefully prevents traders from blowing up their trading accounts
this week has been very slow and choppy and has only given 8 trades so far this week, which when you think about it is extremely boring - but
7 of those trades have been winners and 5 of them produced 21 ticks. thats pretty good pay for being bored
Trading should be boring - Vegas is where the fun is

How many of these trades occured during the Euro and US sessions ? Do you keep such a statistic ?

Charles,
I have a question.
After my stop gets hit (either target or trailing stop) and the trend is still intact on 1508 chart but you have a pullback
on 377 chart and give you another signal,,,,,do you trade it?

Hi Charles,
you are right, trading should be boring. I'm not in it for the action either. I just wish my boredom would not make me overlook so many setups.
