Ive heard stories about you military dudes but cleaning the floor in your birthday suit is quite unique . Were you listening to ABBA and using the mop handle as a microphone?
I can see it now...12 coats of wax, honed to a fine spitshine, ...and some newbie comes in with a pebble stuck in the sole of his boot, and trashes the whole thing in 2 minutes!
Nice, most automotive stuff these days is CANbus as well. Pretty damn cool what you can do with it, but also problematic in some cases... like when we're trying to stuff a brand new Corvette LS3 engine into a Miata LOL... getting the GM ECU to talk with the Mazda chassis can be a challenge because the manufacturers are quite tight lipped about their proprietary systems. Basically we have to hack into it and retro-engineer.
A Miata with a Corvette engine in it is pretty bad ass, BTW.
We actually put on some 80's and 90's hits and yes, I may of did some mop singing.
Thanks
It happens. But whom ever does it, ill be giving them allot puns the entire time they are in my class. They wont forget it. Id probably make a boot comment everytime they walk in the room. lol
We have multiple computers interfacing with our system. The can bus system actually links to other can bus systems in a hierarchy. So it gets way more complicated. Depending on the systems interfacing, we have to use special systems to translate between manufacturers. ie Cummins engine systems with MTU
Yep I hear ya. Used to be just one computer running the engine back in the 80s... then they added one for the transmission.. steering angle... suspension yaw angle.. ABS wheel rotation and slip... throttle position, so on and so forth. Now they're all encompassing. The taillights can talk to the wiper motor if need be LOL.
CAN-bus sounds like some pretty next-level shit. Freaking awesome. Can I CAN-bus my house too so it opens up the shades in the morning and close them at night, turn off/on the heat, make the skylight opaque or clear? That would be awesome.
Small trades today. Looks like we're finally breaking out the top of this multi-week consolidation. Maybe we'll start getting some trends next couple of days.

Finally got the completion move up. Looks like it's still going, but I'm out. Missed the 2nd fill by 1 tick (2 ticks on the full futures)...and they say the markets are not manipulated. Limit was right at the top of the consolidation. So had to chase.
