I got only 8 ticks left, but I think this is ok at my stage.
I don't want to stop after one winner. I believe if you strategy is profitable you should be able to make money no matter how many trades you take.
I was kinda exited about trading today. I'm not sure where did it come from, but I started trading right away without even fibs on 144. I didn't even look at 610 during my trading.
I did like my second trade, but I got out too early. I didn't want to be greedy and got out at 100% extension. I saw that it was H&S and would I measure it I could get 5+ points. But that's fine for me at this stage. I'm not happy with my last two trades (I got direction right, but I got in too early), but I'm satisfied with today's trading. I feel that I'm getting little bit better. I'm not sure how far or how fast my progress is gonna go, but at least I'm in the progress.
I use PFG Best. I don't think their data is really bad, I'm not sure if this is a data feed, or this is communication of NT with PFG. It didn't effect my trading, but it looks really strange on the chart.
I spent about 40 minutes in live chart with customer service and they said it's not data issue. That was something wrong with my charts they said. I'm not sure if that's right, I just hope that's not gonna happen again.
I'm not gonna count it anyway that's why I stopped at BE so it doesn't effect my statistics.
I couldn't trade this morning because last night about 1am we got evacuated because of the fire in our building. We spent about an hour on the parking lot in our pajamas. When we got back in it was a lot of smoke and everything still smells like burned plastic.
When I woke up in the morning I didn't really feel well so I decided to try 3-4pm that was really slow and I used my 4 trades in a chop. After that I thought as long as I'm not counting this day and I'm negative I should get it to BE so it doesn't effect my statistics. I took quiet a few trades, mostly because I wasn't patient and didn't wait for the area.
My profit target was 62% extension from 610 but I took only 6 points because that what I needed to BE. Here are my trades and summary:
I didn't record video just because I was just playing.
Here is how my 4 weeks daily net profit looks like:
It's 20 trading days period (19 because I didn't count Friday). My last week I didn't win anything, but I didn't loose anything ether. I'm not sure if it's good, or bad.
I could have some profit if I stopped trading after 2+ points, but I want to practice more and get better return from my entries.
Right now for the last 20 trading days my avg is about 0.08 points a day. Haha..
I have to do better next couple weeks to get my daily avg higher. I need to get 19-23 week out of 20 period at the same time stay above 0 line.
The advantage of trading live market! NT saves your trades!
Like you mentioned, to me the key is minimize negative days and maximize profitable days. Of course my struggle had always been to eliminate the big negative days then I slowly reduced my profits as well. Of course this isn't the only option, but I remember (still have my old vids) of +4 points, -3 points etc..
From the graph, to me it marks steady improvement and the right trajectory!
