Yeah, loved alias. There's been a few series like these, based on the premise of the original French 'La Femme Nikita'. There was another good one that only lasted a couple seasons called 'Dollhouse' with Eliza Dushku. The premise was interesting, an intelligence company had a group of operatives, which they could download to their brain various personalities, and skill sets required for different missions.
Stopped watching Sarah Silverman. I remembered it as funny, but it's just too
offensive for me at times.
I thought sure I mentioned Chad Vader: Day Shift Manager. Maybe not.
I just finished watching all the (very short) episodes from the series on Hulu. There are also
even shorter, like 4 minute, stand alone clips or whatever they're called on Hulu. I usually tend
to get into lighter stuff like this.
I tend to wait until season 3 before I start watching anything. The networks are so damn eager to cancel things for the last many years, it isn't worth watching season 1 or season 2 because of such a high chance it will be cancelled. I figure that even if it gets cancelled at season 3, it will have had a long enough run to be worth my time to watch
If you want some pure escapism, or enjoy the mythical dungeons and dragon genre. By no means serious televison but fun to watch on a Sunday afternoon. The series is based on very popular book with a large following. It is filmed in the natural settings of New Zealand, beautiful landscaped scenery, and great costumes.
Yes, I was a big Legend of the Seeker fan. Really great fight scenes for a small production. I was quite upset with the early cancellation of the series. It seems the only thing that doesn't get cancelled these days is dancing, singing or reality shows -- and I don't watch any of that.
What a really fantastic show. 8 seasons long. Season 8 was pretty terrible, because too many of the actors left or were changed. But season 1-7 were fantastic.
