Took a trade long at the open yesterday, despite that wedge forming. Was hoping for a retest of highs. Got out when it formed a double top.
Then saw a setup to retest the lows from the breakdown area, and took that. Just a short scalp. Then so tired....went to sleep.
Might be last trade for the competition. Hope everybody is doing well. Thanks for posting those tenants @JMP3

I totally just spammed everyone who has posted in this thread and anyone who expressed interest in the 6E that has been active recently LOL... Apologies if I've intruded!
I'm digging the format thus far, but have a few proposals.
1) Allow up to three contracts. I think it's a more workable, flexible number for people to play with
2) Winner gets their own special avatar they can sport indefinitely if they like (I think people were getting confused on other threads that we posted on... looks like the same person posting)
3) Live is preferred, but SIM is acceptable. If you're willing to take crazy risks on SIM, you'll probably blow up anyway LOL
4) PnL only has to be posted at the end of the week if you have participated
5) Longer term swing trades have to be closed out at the end of the month
6) Participate as you wish. There's never been a requirement in this regard but I thought I would mention it.
7) ... there is no number 7!
Otherwise, it is a FRIENDLY competition! Doesn't matter if you rock the house like @JMP3 or totally suck like yours truly, we're here to share, compare and help each other.
I would love to! However, given that I'm still learning, my sim account is about to expire (tomorrow actually!), then I'm traveling for a month so let me know if you hold any more competitions from March onward!
I'm doing it. Last month I bailed out miserably after the first week to go lick my wounds in my cave of despair. But now I am emerging from despair bearing new armor and weapons and once more seeking glorious victory.
I had one thought... take it or leave it, I'll toss it out there. For me this thread kicks ass because of the competitive energy but also it's best with as much participation as we can get. Maybe there are folks out there that are into it but just have no desire to trade M6E. I thought maybe we could have a parallel competition within the thread that is less restrictive. So there would be TWO trophies. Rules could be, for example:
1. Trade anything you want. Futures / FX, anything could work.
2. Trade whatever size you want.
3. Sim or Live, just identify which.
4. Report results in ticks, or PnL, or not at all.
5. Post some charts, annotating ideas. That's the spirit of the thread. Don't have to post everything, but post some.
6. At the end of the month, best looking PnL graph from platform wins. You can also blackout the actual PnL results but we probably need some kind of Y axis for context. It's about how good the graph looks. Maybe throw in metrics of profit factor and number-of-trades for context. Open to any other size-neutral performance metrics we could use instead.
I'm really just into people discussing their charts in a community thread. Not sure if this would get anyone, and if not, it's not worth it. I also don't want to dilute this thread if the M6E comp participants would prefer it remain focused. It's just a thought.
