I did not trade yesterday. Today I enabled both bots. ES rolled to March contract. E7 is still using Dec contract because it has more volume than march.
No trades on any of the bot. But I did one manual SIM trade (short) on M6E. It was good for 22 ticks. M6E fell sharply. In afternoon it tried to go up but then it could not and fell again. That's where I entered short position.
No trades on both bots. Market is choppy because of December I guess. I am disabling my bots for now. If I see good movement I will enable them. But I may be done for this month.
Just found your thread. Excellent stuff. I have just began trading CL. Could you elaborate a little more on your method for finding support and resistance lines on your 5 minute chart? Thanks.
Continuing my ES and E7 strategies in new year. Today I had 1 trade on ES but it exited at break even. On E7 there was a long entry in afternoon but then exited at 1 tick loss after waiting for 4 bars.
Big players are still missing from market this week. Low volume. Next week should be better.
Hi Einstein,
I left my previous S/R breakout method few months back. It's still a good method but I had problems following that system. So I am trying out a new approach with automated strategy on ES and E7.
