I think it may be absorbed into iTunes or rebranded and launched as the iPods of the future. If their new naming convention takes hold it'll be Apple Beats... That only leads to a host of jokes... Almost as much as iBeats would...
From what I understand, it will be incorporated into iTunes. Maybe that'll be renamed into Apple Tunes too. If they don't bring any fruit from taking it down, it'll hurt their image a lot I think.
Apple may be in some serious trouble with the iPhone 6.
Lots of reports around the interwebz that the phones are bending very easily in people's pockets. This will be important to watch in coming weeks, if Apple has another "you're holding it wrong" catastrophe this could be terrible for the stock.
Not to mention that it's likely to be jailbroken in 2-4 months time possibly. And don't forget all the reports of bugs (such as crashing in settings) and lack of screen optimization, especially for 6+. Definitely going to be things to watch.
I was going to buy some calls in October but I'm starting to think it might be better to buy some puts as well. At least for a mid to long time frame.
I thought this was an interesting article on the difference between how Apple under Steve Jobs introduced new product compare to how Apple under Cook does the same thing.
