Just missed my move on the CL by a few ticks but so goes the limited trade #'s. I did 5 trades I believe and here is the video below. I was a bit too excited and still working on my morning schedule again. I honestly do not like doing market replay at all.
Ok, I took a trade which may not have been at a pivot, but it definitely looked weak. I also saw the other two sharp pivots down but decided that I was pretty happy with my trading and then I took another trade which ended up being ok.
Trading the CL is just plain scary to me at this point. I still feel on 'edge' while trading it and TF is like an old friend.
I guess when combining the two averages, then -.8 points for the day, but I am trading a different # of contracts for each, so it was a profitable day. I need to get my butt up at 3am so I can start trading the market but days have been long.
I don't like market replay as a substitute for a live market. It's virtually identical, but because you know it's not real, it just isn't the same. You know that you can pause it, fast forward it, and you have a control in replay that simply doesn't exist in the live market. I do however like to use it when I want to practice actually entering a trade which I already know the outcome, simply for the mechanics of it.
Ok, wow, ranging on the CL got me in a jam. Looking for a 3 point run and I would have had it but I got chopped up with my small stop. Had I had more trades I would have taken it for a nice 3.5 points!
Here is my trades.

I continue to not take Horsts advice as none of these entries were really in a sweet spot. I think when I finally accept that I get only 3 trades no matter what and that I will continue to lose unless I wait for the proper entries will I actually be profitable.
Ok, the indi's were telling me that they were conflicted. I know better than to trade this or to at least take my small victories. I am starting to really understand the 'motion' of how the different conditions are looking on the MACDBB's. If it is a ranging market you will see lots of separation at each turn and sticking with the longer term trend is probably safer so wait for that.
Some trades were clear, but I was already done for the day at 3 trades!
