On the first visit to the beta site you will be prompted for HTTP credentials since the beta is private. But once you enter them, you should not be prompted a second time to download this file.

Can you clarify the exact error?

This is normal, I sent you a PM with that HTTP authentication. If you use Chrome and presumably others, it should only ask you once and then it remembers it.

Try uploading your own file and see if you can download it. It should be >64mb to avoid some caching.

I have 'report'ed the post on the beta site as well. It seems different to the other unconverted old nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) links, but I guess it could just be the critical IMG tags bug? I'm not sure because the expanded 'beta' link looks valid.

Private message attachments (images and zip files) work fine. At least they do when I talk to myself.

Yes.

Hmm. I only open Chrome every few weeks, it just stays up after I reboot my computer. But even then, it remembers my passwords. Not sure why yours is different. Can't help further on that one, sorry.
