Congratz. Nice Trade. Back in late November I assume after we rallied from $3.60 to $4.50 in March?
Me 2. Unfortunately if it doesn't happen soon it may be irrelevant. In fact if it doesnt happen soon the downside for this summer could be very interesting. If we come out of winter with anything but low storage inventory we will have so much gas next summer we will not know what to do with it.
Nice trade @ron99 how did u come to the conclusion to get long right there what was ur thought process seasonal or weather reading or what type of info generally did u use for this ?
Hi thanks for bringing option selling up, I dont know a lot of people doing it. I have a question for you. Do you feel sometimes the quotes you are getting for your short positions come from on system with a high bias and the quotes you get for your long option positions come from another system with a low bias? I ask because sometimes I feel the broker tries to keep your short positions high or at the same level so you cannot cash in a profit and the long options you buy those loose value in a hurry. Am I being paranoid?
Hi Ron, thanks for your opinion, it is the first one I ever get on the topic and I appreciate it. So according to you, if I check tradestation futures 9.0 quotes for coffee options they are going to be the same for every broker in the planet ? Those options models are going to shoot the same numbers for everybody, every market maker is going to arrive at the same conclusion for bids and offers at all times?
Here I have a picture of my screen from a couple of minutes ago of some positions I have on oil. Some Short some long. The platform glitch repeated the 61 put. Notice the values of the bids and asks are different (Third and Fourth Columns are Bids and Asks)
