Ahhhh... Of course - just my luck. Thanks for the good news... I will give it more time. I need to spend as much time on the 6E as I did on the TF... I do enjoy staying in trades longer.
This trading technique is under refinement procedures.... lot's of market replay studying
the optimal method for entering into established trends, then staying in and adding to
position. Almost swing trading....
I'm still BE on Live Trading... I am at the brink...
just remember, the market loves traders that display emotion...Trading everyday is a grind. And, we all know its just a numbers game.Ive been simming since 1/2011.After trading live for some time, i made achoice...not to trade live until i had a method that atleast gave me a chance. Now, trading live on m6e is fine, as it should track the 6e.We all know the emotions of going live, and there is an adjustment time period. There have been many times(and they continue) where i think to myself,"geez, am i ever gonna get this in sim so i can get to the next level"exasperation, frustration, and the hardest, is when i start to see progress, and get hopeful.Once again, the market doesnt care. The emotions that we struggle with are all part of the journey, and its a journey that can take years.I try to accept that, and instead of thinking frustrating thoughts, i try to keep working on specific areas that i need to improve...................dont forget, experience and market hours play a big role in this, and thats just a matter of spending the time. And heres the kicker.People that do the work, and spend the time, have a small chance of getting to the next level. So what is the answer to all this?Hell if i know!!just kidding!just focus on one day at a time. When your mind starts to wander, bring it back ,and focus on the moment.I spend alot of energy just trying to stay positive..and its a work in progress, that can become an obsession, and there are times when i just need a break.Big Mike had a webinar in the past(he gave it personally), and i find that it can give my batteries a bit of a recharge, so i recommend it! keep up the good work!
Thanks, so much, for the encouragement my friend...
It is no wonder why only around 10% make it to be profitable... The time alone spent, must weed out
50% quickly !!! ... but I have plenty of time at this point in my life (out of the studio, of course) and now
that I'm not losing money, I know it is just a matter of time. Failure is not an option. Trading is part of my
life now.
The technical part is well in hand - perhaps 75% of where I want to be.
The Emotional side is my demon - 50% to the goal, at best.
I am learning the "character" of the moves of the EURO / Dollar more everyday, and I think it will
be a good instrument to work out my Live Trading demons...
