edit: I see in that link adding extra cheese as one of your recommended tips, that may help you and be one of my causes , I eat a lot of cheese, I don't like milk
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I'm actually still not 'small' per say, but I've just lost a lot of muscle I used to carry around. My buddy remarked yesterday after I had shaved off my facial hair that I looked thinner. I lol'd cause I thought of this thread at the time.
When I get all this sorted, I'll get back to normal.
Nobody seems to know what kind of dog she is , smart as can be though I just say chihuahua wannabe , have two great black labs too but not here , a good friend had more space than I did at one time (during move) and unfortunately had to make the most difficult decision to place them with him, we visit and there is no point in uprooting them again , they are happy and well fed and i don't want to go through that again , so no more big dogs 'till permanent residence
Thanks for well wishes, Doc says past the crucial time period, take her for a check later but seems to be improving by the hour, i think that is the first time the dog has been sick in 8 years - name's Tequila
Dog is doing good, even had a bit to eat today , still groggy but looks like everything's going to be okay, amazing as just a little dog
Me not so good, didn't exercise today at all , need to keep it going
Have to change hours too , I prefer the night because it's quiet and peaceful to study and think but since i won't be trading after hours any more, I need to change sleeping habits
going to try and stay up further into the day to change internal clock
We all must have similar experiences with trading. That sleep thing is a PITA sometimes. I like to be up for the London Open. But its rough to get on that schedule. I try to be awake from 2am CST, until at least the US close. Then I try to stay awake till @ least 7pm CST, then sleep till about 1:30am CST. If I go to bed earlier than 7pm, I will usually wake up after only a few hours, and not get much sleep.
And that's exactly what I did just now. So I'll probably be tired all tomorrow again.
I traded the Euro session for a while, but it was just too much of a wear on my sleep cycle. The few nights I couldn't go to bed before 8 or 9 were just horrible the next day. Now I just focus on the US morning hours and do just as well
Got to watch it when the doctor tells you to put on weight. I overshot my goal by a bunch. Losing is harder, but spending a good part of the day on the treadmill, even at 1 mph does burn the calories. If I have no appointment, I up the incline and burn much more and perspire a bunch. Also calms my trading because of the rhythm and I make fewer unforced errors.

I hope your dog recovers easily. I presume Vitamin K was a part of the treatment. If the active ingredient in the rat poison was a blood thinner, generally recovery goes well if you catch it early enough. If other type poison, I'm out of my depth.
I suspect your dog is a part of your mental health and therefore a help to your trading. Just got a new dog after 15 years without one. I get mad at me when I do something stupid, but he doesn't. Life lessons come in small sizes.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I'm guessing so, a lot of blood came out of both ends , we went to first vet that was closest and I didn't even bother asking what was wrong and said that she ingested rat poison because i had seen my other neighbor's dog have similar experience , that doc only gave something for vomit , I guess to stop , my lady talked to Doc first time, I thought he would have given antibiotic or treatment too but when hours passed and seemed to be getting worse, went to a different vet because I went to ask that neighbor and he said they gave a wash of the stomach , that vet gave injections of vitamins and medicine and hooked up I.V. (for $25 , it's Mexico) and dog is almost 100% today , lucky dog
just telling the story in case happens to anyone else , got to act quick and from reading on the internet it seems that many do not suspect poison , not even vets quickly so hopefully helps someone
