I have the first book and I've just started reading the new version. I agree completely, it's like Lord of the Rings or maybe what they did with Harry Potter and the last book spreading it over 2 movies :P Yeah, sure, 1 movie wouldn't have done the last book justice :P
I have read 5 chapters in the first book so far. I struggled with the first book but was unable to progress beyond the first chapter. This book is much clearer but still I find myself wondering sometimes "what have I just read?".
I think I will need to summarize the chapters so that I can remember the material, the main problem for me is I lose track, he is discussing things in such detail, I sometimes find myself completely lost and cannot even paraphrase what I just read... anyone has the same problem?
Well as Big Mike has mentioned in his previous post's response to me, I think it would be okay to discus, paraphrase or summarize Brooks' material here. I would certainly appreciate being able to bounce around ideas and my understanding of what he's written so far :P
I've noticed that it's likely that one need to have all 3 volumes as the glossary in the book does not define all terms used in his book but scattered over the 3 volumes. E.g 20 gap bar setup mentioned on pg 113 of Book 1 was discussed in p.23 of Book 2
Watch the two webinars in our webinar section from Al Brooks, he explains it better in video. He will also be doing a third webinar in a couple weeks, details to come.
