Best microphones are from Neumann, they coust thousands though.
Depending on your budget, the cheapest and best in their price range are: Blue Yeti, MXL USB009, Neuman TLM 102.
I have the Blue yeti and Behringer C1U. I would not recommend the C1U because of the low gain.
Blue yeti is great.
The MXL is a 400 dollar mic, but it would be the best choice in it's price range, followed probably my something like Sure SM 7 with FastTrack C400 in front of it as it does not have an USB interface.
Then, if money matters less, you can get the Neuman TLM 102 with the same C400 interface.
It depends what your goals are.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
no I did not read the whole thread, I just wrote what I know.
Use Yeti and MXL close to mouth, if you need some quality audio and use the heart symbol on yeti for voice.
I wanted to buy the MXL, but it is not available in Europe (where I am right now) and the shipping to Europe and taxes would make it too expensive (about 600 usd)
I know someone on the forum is a professional audio guy, but I can't remember their username. I was looking for help to clean up the audio in a recent webinar. If you are able to help please PM me.
I have used the same mic for over a year, calm down and pay attention. No disrespect, naturally.
I posted here because it was from this thread that the audio pro contacted me. I am not asking about a microphone, I'm asking for help to clean up audio from a presenter (not me). But hey, you don't care about webinars do you? You don't want any good content or anything, right?
