Played around a bit with grey bars.
I think the bars colours on here are close enough to each other to not have an overly large psychological impact and at the same time still relatively well distinguishable between up and down...
What do you guys think? Remember that I have the toolbar and the complete border and titlebar hidden on my trading workspace, so there would not be this hard contrast you can see on the
screenshot ...

I like it...pretty close to what I have on my screen right now. I tried OHLC, but it did not feel right. I too am experimenting

Do you think the color of a candle or bar affects certain people when trading? Here are two charts, one a standard red/green candle, and the other a black OHLC. Imagine that you had placed the lower blue line before the market open, and that you were looking to buy at or near the line. Would you have found it more difficult to buy if you saw the big red down candles? Compare that to the neutral, black OHLC. Does the OHLC chart, by its lack of color in this case, present a generally more neutral perspective? Is it easier to buy after a big down bar (often the best time to buy) if you don't see a lot of red? Conversely, is it easier to sell after a big up bar if you aren't seeing green?
More generally speaking, how does the color of various chart components affect our trading, if at all?
Well - I would like to think I am above all that....
.. but my candles (well OHLCs) are all the same colour....
Because I am not sure I really am above all that.

Cool, I have been thinking of getting her book, I assume you mean "Market Mind Games"? Can you be a little more specific on why she says this?
On page 89 of Market Mind Games there is a short section called Trading Colors where she notes the subconscious associations of colors which can create emotions and affect behavior.

Ok let me try this:
Eu = Yo(I)
não = no
que = que(that)
sabias = sabias(know)
falar = hablar(talk)
português = Portuguese
did I get it right?
Nice!

Here is a little bit I know(excuse my spelling)
Bon jia garrotta bonita, voce poje preprar umeo cafe de mana?
That's a mix between Spanish, Portuguese from Portugal and Portuguese from Brasil
garota is most used in Brasil but in Portugal usually refers to a young woman, a child. So be careful to whom you call garota , it might give the wrong idea, especially when you add bonita which means pretty, beautiful
You might say something like:
Bom dia, será que a senhora me poderia preparar um café?
This is a more light version, doesn't sound so kinky as the one you wrote
