I have written programs that annotate charts and even draw custom bars in my old platform that are key to my trading. I havent found a way to replicate all that in TT yet. The short term plan is to use both platforms - my existing platform for all computation, charting, historical analysis, backtesting etc and TT for execution.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?

Very short but informative webinar giving us a few major distinctions between the current X-trader and the new Nextrader. I like the changes they have made to the spread trader. I currently use xtrader but don't like the spread function in it, so I handle the spreads myself. I major problem at the moment using the spreader is that it can leg quite a bit, and as a spread trader that's the worse thing you can have, as it simply means you're not getting in at the price you really want. We'll have to wait and see when it's all up and running, but it looks like they're focusing on the right area's for improving the current Xtrader.

It was released back in March, but some functionality (ie "full" ADL functionality, and RTD links specifically) are still not available and may not be available until Q4. As such I have not used it myself (yet).
TT have lots of promotional video's for it on their website and twitter feed.
The product is an interesting cloud/collocation hybrid. A lot of the none latency dependent functionality is cloud based, but all the execution functionality is all collocated on TT's hardware at the exchange. As you can imagine this is creating some waves with FCMs and with many Prop Shops/Traders. Effectively TT have taken over the roll of hosting the exchange gateways from the FCMs and you now execute threw TT rather than your FCM. (It still clears through your FCM though). For someone like myself, who have invested money into collocated servers this is not necessarily a good thing as they have taken away my control and my ability to see my setup, hardware, and potential issues. I'm also believe someone like Advantage Futures is a lot better and quicker at trouble shooting and resolving issues than TT are, so I'd rather have Advantage in control of that, than a large opaque company not known for transparency. For a more retail orientated trader though, the new TT will basically offer the ability to be colocated without the colocation costs. ie the retail trader will gain a significant speed advantage over their current setups.
Who was it released to?
Yes, there is promotional material everywhere, news announcements of the product on many publications, yet I did not see the deployment of the product or know anyone that is using it in it's current format.
I would love to add such a product to our platforms of choice, but I was not able to receive even a demo thus far.
The product looks promising and well designed, so it would be nice to learn it's entire functionalities.
Thanks,
Matt

March 11th...
Today marks a momentous achievement for both us and our customers. After revealing one year ago that we were building a brand new trading platform, today we're announcing that the platform, which we're calling simply TT, is now available to everyone, worldwide.
This marks only the second time in our 21-year history that we've embarked on an initiative of this magnitude. Our original trading platform, X_TRADER®, was introduced in 1994 and has been our flagship—and only—offering ever since. X_TRADER has been time-tested and lauded with awards for more than two decades, and it still remains one of the most-used systems for professional derivatives traders worldwide.
My reference was to Nextrader as I thought this was the product discussed here.
We do have users of TT already and I am am aware of it's features.

I did not realize it applied to Nextrader as well. I believe that during the webinar here the web version was presented(?)
Was that released with the new TT?
