...(beat the shit out of it)...

Deal size is 320MM shares.
Word is only 10% of the deal is going Retail or about 32MM shares. So some is available to keep the Retail from rioting in the streets they did not get any!
Expect tiny allocations from your broker.

So....with so much of it going into strong hands(institutional), the chance of anyone(read Retail) beating the Sh*t out of the symbol is .... nil.

The price increase to $66 to $68 is now official and found inside here. Word also is that the 'share size' will not be increased.

I put in a market order right after the open for a tiny speculative position (10 shares), I waited about 15 seconds and it still wasn't filled and the price kept rising, so I cancelled it. Placed a limit order at 90.00, we'll see if I get filled. I was 0.01 from getting filled on the day of the Facebook IPO so we'll see how I fare today.

Sold 2/3rds of my allocations at the open of 92.70, keeping a little for the long run.

Allocations were extremely tight. Average 100 shares from most brokers.

Word is of the 10% that was supposed retail allocated, only 4% (of the 10) was actually NON-friends/family allocations.

Yep, filled at 90.00. Exit plan: double or nothing, 180.00 or 0.00. Probably would never let it go to 0.00 anyways if fundamentally signs were clear it was headed there.

An investment not a trade:
Nice entry.

Did someone really get filled at $150 or is my ToS platform showing a bad tick on the open?

80% of IPOs lose money in the first year. I would think in the $40 range BABA would be a compelling buy. Much like when FB was in the $30s.
