New server for NexusFi (formerly BMT) is coming along. Got a test instance of vbulletin up on it, some impromptu testing shows at least 3-5x speed improvement (or more) over current site. The real improvement though is not in raw speed or perceived speed from an end user perspective, but that the new hardware can scale far better to meet future demands of the site (more users).

At the rate we're currently growing our needs will have doubled in about six months. It is my hope the new server lasts a very long time.

This has been keeping me busy this past week... but I'll be back to posting soon.

I'm ok with DS9 during all the Dominion battles Voyager got off to a rough start, but I liked the last few seasons. TNG naturally is just awesome. I'm not a big fan of TOS.

Stargate Universe is really quite awesome, I strongly recommend it!
