Have reported and documented a few issues in NT8. After being repeatedly told it can't be replicated, then finally that they could and told it would be fixed in next version. That was 3 versions ago for one issue and same problem persists. They now claim they really have replicated it and it will be fixed next issue.
TBH, at the start I got pretty frustrated especially because I had not been able to use NT7 pretty much for 8mths because of freezing. But then I started looking through the NT8 beta forum at all the issues and reminded myself its ..... Beta and what else should be expected from it. Its been opened up to users to help fault find and report back so that the process can hopefully be gotten through quicker. Its not marketed as being stable or ready to trade, especially trade live. The more users who fault find and spend time documenting and clarifying for NT support, the quicker we get a stable platform.
So I try and spend at least a couple of hours a week (More straight after new version until I run into bugs to report) running NT8 and documenting anything that pops up and sending back as detailed reports as I can because it ultimately helps everyone and finalizes it that little bit quicker.
Its frustrating to see the potential sitting right there and not being able to utilize it but that's what Beta is all about. The more Beta testers, the quicker all the faults can be found and documented then addressed.
Its better then NT trying to do it all in house and we get a platform release 2019 that would still have bugs not found.
Nt8 is completely different to NT7. Wait until programmers start utilizing its ability and it will be like night and day. Its already apparent with some 3rd party stuff being re-written for it and that's with it still buggy and crashing. Can't wait to see it finished!
