Saw this last night in a Vanity Fair article on Tesla/Solar City and immediately thought of the TT parallels.
(off subject: Good read, amazing that they can get away with what appears at first glance to be something not in anybodies best interest other than Musk himself. Would have thought the board liability was huge. We will see.
TT RTD Documentation and examples; I have just started working with TT RTD but not new to RTD (been working on CQG RTD for a while now).
Frustrated with the lack of sample files with TT. Yes there is documentation and the sample RTD file works but thats all i found. If you change one value, take out one column in a formula, many times it doesnt work. TT should provide a lot more sample files and some scenarios.
Dont get me wrong, TT is a great product and value for what it offers but would be great if you have someone in TT say produce example files, excel dashboards that can be taken and modified etc.
For example, If I need fills for the outright legs in a spread product grouped by entry/exit etc and by fill date, would be good to have a template.
(Note: I did try for several hours and just modifying a value from the provided documentation produces an error and have no idea how to fix it. If there were more formulas/examples to follow, it might be easier)
I could go to TT support but is it practical to go for every scenario that might come up.
