When using Rithmic with NinjaTrader, does NT connect directly to the feed or can it be connected thru Rithmic Trader Pro? In the past, I was able to run MultiCharts and BookMap at the same time by connecting them to Rithmic Trader Pro and only needing to have one Rithmic feed. Does NinjaTrader support this?

Yes, choose connect via API checkbox or something similar on rithmic and NT8 connection settings.

Does this method still work for newly issued ninja license keys? I can see it on a @SIM key and it works fine.

For any existing active customers of record before July 2014, Rithmic is available otherwise its only available at NinjaTrader Brokerage.

How are you defining customer of record?
Was having a free NT license enough or you needed to have a paid NT license.

I would love to use the Rithmic feed since Kinetick does not support market depth beyond 10 levels, while Rithmic will give 100s of levels of ES market depth

Lease and Lifetime license holders can switch to any brokerage technology that was available on the purchase date of their current license. For users who have renewed or changed their license, the purchase date is the date of original purchase provided there was no lapse in service. Free Direct Edition licenses are non-transferrable, except to NinjaTrader Brokerage.

Subject to the above, the following apply:

Trading Technologies – No longer available to new clients after July 15th, 2014
Rithmic –Available at supporting FCM’s for clients of record before July 16th, 2014 otherwise exclusively available at NinjaTrader Brokerage
CQG – No longer available to new clients after March 10th, 2015

If I select Rithmic as my preferred real time futures data provider, my traded instrument NQ plots real time but I see the following error messages for VX and @10Y (both futures instruments too) and both VX and @10Y does not plot any real time data:

- "Instrument VX 03-23 not supported"
- "Market data failed for 10YR 02-23. The subscription to this instrument has been aborted. Dependent network services and/or data were not available."

However, I am certain that IQ Feed is providing data for both VX and @10Y.

If I select IQ Feed as my preferred real time data provider, NQ plots with a delay, I'm unable to trade as a result. However, VX and @10Y plots real time. This error message is displayed:

- "NQ 03-23 market data is delayed since your account does not have a real-time subscription for the exchange this market trades on."

I need NQ to come from Rithmic because of the multiple levels of market depth. But I also need VX and @10Y (also futures instruments) and these come from IQ Feed.

Any help you can render to resolve this chicken and egg issue would be much appreciated.

What happens if you don't specify the preferred connections and leave all of the options set to none?
