One thing is for sure, looking like a new round of lockdowns in this part of the US. Michigan bars are closed, restaurants are not far behind. Indiana will likely follow suit.
I went out with my 79 year old Mum the other day and she was wearing a mask. She frequently had to stop walking up a hill as she couldn't get enough air through her cotton mask as you have to use more effort to get air through it and into your lungs. So you know, there's that if you're older or weaker but hey who cares about that lot.
Man!!! I don't know whether to be pissed at them or feel sorry for them.
SC are always telling us how they are the best engineers that can ever be. Yet they cannot release an update without stumbling into bugs, see the latest DateTime change for example. Yet they want us to believe that 100s but more probably 1000s of people conspired to falsify an election at thousands of sites and it worked without being caught!
Tell me about it. The way they act is very childish. God forbid you ever report a bug, they just blame you and keep claiming their software is flawless.
They have excellent developers, but no customer service. Has always been the case.
It's therefore not a platform for most, which is just the way they like it. I don't think their goal has ever been to sell more software, just to make a technically superior piece of software.
Their software is excellent to say the least. It's what I use and will keep using for the foreseeable future. But the weird conspiracy posts are just ridiculous haha
It's often said that they have an overblown idea of their own perfection, and I think they do, and it's often said that they go on serious rants against their own customers who don't live up to their expectations, and they certainly do. As Mike says, they don't much care about selling their software, at least not to users they don't regard as worthy of it (which is amazing in itself, in terms of attitude.)
But I have either used directly or tested out a great many of the popular trading platforms (yes, Ninja too, for a lot of years), and I prefer theirs hands down.
Also, although I agree that their customer service can be terrible, I have reported a couple of technical issues and have had them jump on them and get out a fix almost instantly. You just have to have an actual, reproducible issue. Otherwise, they will treat you very poorly.
But the excellence of the platform carries the day for me.
I'll ignore the political rants, pretty much as I ignore all the other rants, and keep using the software.
Bob.
