All – this is Anthony from Stage 5 Trading. I wanted to take a moment to respond.
Stage 5 is operational and has every intent to remain so, and to continue to provide the introducing broker services for which we are known. The NFA BCC Complaint represents the first disciplinary action in the history of Stage 5, and we obviously take the allegations in it seriously. We have hired counsel to respond to the Complaint and advise us on a course of action going forward. Given that we are in the early stages of addressing these matters, I don’t think it appropriate that we comment yet. We do want to make clear that we have no plans on closing our operations, and we intend to address this matter promptly and put things behind us with NFA.

Just a final update regarding the issue between Stage 5 and NFA to let you know that the case is settled as of November 09, 2022.
I have been following the case since I knew about it and in my opinion this has been a minor issue that can happen to any company, as there was no intent to wrong doing and the case was easily settled with just a small fine.
Thus, for me it has been and will continue to be business as usual with Stage 5.
Lastly, I want to publicly show my appreciation to Stage 5 and in special Anthony Giacomin for keeping me well informed during the entire process.
I'm brand new to the forum, so take this for what it's worth: I use Stage Five / Sierra Futures and have had zero issues with them. I've found the customer service and general response time to be completely acceptible.
Before opening my account with Stage Five I was with AMP. No issues there, I made the switch to take advantage of Sierra Charts' order routing and data feed - the lower commissions with Stage Five were a nice bonus.
Dorman micro commissions is .45 RT? and Amp Micro is .15 RT?
What do you mean by $0.20 RT TT routing fee? This is so confusing lol. Sorry, I'm new to all of this. I don't understand how this all works lol.
No.
Dorman micro commissions are about 45% of their emini commissions.
AMP micro commissions are about 15% of their emini commissions.
Check with each broker for their actual commissions.
If you use Sierra's TT order routing, you pay $0.20 RT
However, Sierra Chart now has their own order routing: Teton Order Routing. And it is free.
(Only existing users can use the TT order routing; it is being phased out. New clients will use Teton Order Routing).
A futures trader pays for these things, in one way or another:
- Data feed
- Order routing
- Exchange fees
- Charting software
- Commissions
Your brokerage account is either directly with a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM), or via an Introducing Broker.
Dorman and AMP are FCMs. Stage5 is an Introducing Broker for several FCMs
Data and Order routing is either from the FCM, or a 3rd party. SierraChart offers their Denali data, and their Teton order routing.
Yes, it's confusing. And this is an incomplete overview.
