the generic name for double MA is MA of MA which is easy to create in NT7 without any coding effort.
However you dont get slope coloring, you could get by by using yet another MA with color in NT7 tho.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
1. @Tundi ... Pay attention... I said what I meant and I meant what I said ... Software download in the Elite section is free... You have to be an Elite member to go to the elite section Besides .. didn't you just say the same thing I did
2. Yes if you just come here to scarf up free stuff without giving anything back or supporting this site... then by all means go look for free stuff on the NT site.. and when you want an arrow added or the back ground color changed, or help writing code... ask the support staff at NT to do that for you... let me know how that works out for ya ...
3. Software is like buying oats. If you want nice clean oats, you must pay a fair price. However, if you can be satisfied with oats that have already been through the horse, that comes a little cheaper.

I'm just a simple man trading a simple plan.
My daddy always said, "Every day above ground is a good day!"
No, I didn't say the same thing. I added a bit of pertinent information. No harm in clarifing it.
Reminds me of an article I read about the Governor of NJ who said the roads and exit ramps on the NJ Turnpike are free, but he failed to mention you can't get on them unless you pay a toll.
And now I will exit this thread to let others enjoy it.
Trying to use the DoubleMA in a strategy gives me a lot of trouble. Using the results of the DMV table in my strategy gives surprising results. Other results when I have a look at the DoubleMA line in the chart. it seems the same results as when the "Calculate on bar close" parameter is "true". Lots of zeros.
Can someone give me some hints what to do. Tried also FirstTickofBar but doesn't work either.
Don't use it in a strategy. Most of the code is only useful for indicators with the visual drop down box and rising/falling plots.
In a strategy, just use
Typed free hand and I haven't used NT in about 18 months so forgive me for any errors. The last line of code is the magic of a double ma, substitute whatever ma's you want.
