I was able to do a lot of set up and get Multicharts to try and connect to MB Trading (but it kept saying I had an old Navigator, MB Tradings connector software, but I had just download a new one the day before) and then I saw in some documentation that there's a Broker Profile that needs to be set up but I haven't had time to read up on that yet...so I haven't complained.
Plus they say its unsupported. But I'll mention it on their forum if I'm still stuck after reading everything.
Plus I was hoping the Multicharts poster here might chime in...
Plus I was hoping Sam 0h 28 who is oh so smart would figure it out and share.
We have decided - because of your guys' feedback - to offer support for the free version. However, paid users will take priority over the free ones, but the dedicated free forum will be monitored. We don't guarantee a 24 hour turnaround on the MCDT forum, but we will do our best (our support always tries hard).
Free users can also come to the Live Chat, but if there is a line-up of paid users, it might be a wait. We are also drafting documentation for the free version, so you don't feel so lost
I spoke to MB Trading yesterday, and we reached an agreement for tighter integration, for the benefit of MC users and MB Trading users.

If I download MB Tradings new Desktop Pro it automatically removes MB Navigator. I'm assuming when Multicharts can't download data from MB Trading saying "You are using an obsolete version of MB Trading. Please upgrade." that they want me to use Desktop Pro. MBT doesn't even offer MB Navigator on their site anymore it appears.
Once Desktop Pro was on my computer it wouldn't let me remove it! Windows Add/Remove software populated its list but wouldn't remove Desktop Pro so I had to restore my computer to an earlier date to get it off. It seems like MB Trading doesn't want Navigator used once its off your computer.
So to try Multicharts I'd have to go through the above every time. I depend on some NJ7 indi's so maybe I'll just go through the drama on weekends until I can determine if I can replace NJ7 with Multicharts. Or just get another data feed for NJ7.
The Live Chat has been awesomely nice and helpful to me since yesterday. I had Dave and Andrew remotely connect to my machine and resolve my MCDT7/IQFeed setup.
Here is the response from our engineers - check your registry, it should look like the screenshot I attached to the post. Also check that the version of MbtCom.dll is not lower than 11.7.0.17 in the path that is in the screenshot.
If you need to, change CurrentDirectory, include the path where MB Trading MBNAvigatorPRo files are located. If the message disappears and the data stops coming in, send us the MC logs.

Your willingness to support the free version has convinced me. I have installed MC and will come back with questions. I am mainly interested in MC's capability to collect and display data correctly. This is the first step, and I guess this can be tested with the discretionary version.
